What is INS?
The Infusion Nurses Society was established over 25 years ago and is considered the premier professional organization for infusion nurse specialists. Because of it’s scope many pharmacists, doctors and other healthcare workers have joined it’s ranks and contribute regularly to our knowledge and expertise.
How can INS benefit me?
The Infusion Nurses Society is committed to education. Each year, there are several major educational offerings throughout the country.
The annual national meeting is held in May and attendance is often in excess of 2,000 I.V. nurses. The conference includes a weekend of highly requested, current topics and then four more days of expert speakers, exhibits and a huge vendor faire. The chance to meet and network with other nurses in this specialty is unbelievable!
A Spring and Fall weekend academy are also offered throughout the country and afford timely topics and excellent speakers.

| Benefits of Joining the Local Chapter.......
The local chapter is a group of professional I.V. nurses who work in different settings. Some are in home infusion/home care, others on I.V. teams and many in alternative settings such as infusion centers. Many work for trend setting organizations that are on the cutting edge of new therapies. Our educational programs range from the latest drugs and treatments to the newest equipment advances.
Joining the local chapter is an exciting opportunity to network with your colleagues. The small yearly membership fee helps defray the costs of mailings, newsletters etc. Local membership also affords you discounts at all of our educational events.
You do not have to be a national INS member to join your local chapter, but National membership is encouraged so that you don’t miss out on the many extraordinary benefits available.
Serving on the Chapter Board is an opportunity to have a voice in the types of presentations we offer and to participate with your colleagues in bringing educational presentations to our local area.
We would like to see you at our next meeting or educational offering. Our yearly dues are $30.00 per calendar year. Please download and send in the local membership application.
